"Saturday"..the only day where I can stay in bed till late morning.
But unfortunately, last Saturday...
I woke up as early as 6.30 am since there is school today...
What A Dragggggggg........ *sigh*

Lucky for me...Ed Board was having a photo shoot session for the school's administrators on that day.
Reached school at 7.10 am and some of the Ed Board members were already there.
Hsien Ming, Paalan, Joshua John, and Benedict.
We waited for a short while since the editor, Adrian Lee isn't here yet.

Editor.....Where are you...???

After a short wait...Maha, Narinder , Adrian Lee , Elumalai and Brian arrived.
Adrian went to see Mr. Ooi to get the permission letter to take some benches from the school's canteen while the others (trainees and seniors) chit chat while waiting.

Adrian came back with the letter and let the hard work begin.
Me, Hsien, Joshua John and Benedict make our way to the canteen and carried back 4 long benches.
After that we carried 30 chairs from the school hall to the field.
Man it's damn HEAVY!!

We then moved to our stations, 1 in front of the school arch and 1 in the field.
Me, Narinder, Benedict, Maha (the trainees) and Adrian (Editor) were stationed in the field.
We (the trainees) arranged the benches and chairs while the Adrian setup the camera.

All set and we're still waitingggggg... where are the teachers? *sigh*
According to Adrian the photo shoot will only start at 8.15 am I looked at my watch and it will be a boring 15 more minutes before it starts.
Since it was pretty boring.. I took some shots with my camera

After that..there were some teachers who were late for their photo shoot.
Since it's another long boring wait...me and Benedict decided to fool around for awhile.

When the other teachers are finally here..we continued our job. After about an hour, the photo shoot session is over..

We went to the canteen for a drink and then to the editorial board room.
There we hang out for a while and listen to the editor's comment about today's photo shoot session.
After all the talking we went back to our respective classes.

Run Like Hell ["Penang Free School Cross Country Run"]

Story Of My Life

27 March 2008

Last Thursday was the school's cross country run event.
I volunteered myself to be one of the First-Aiders as most of my school's RCS committee members were in K.L. for some camp which I don't even bother to know what camp is it.

Woke up at 6.35 am to get myself ready and pack up my stuff

• Water and Food - checked

• Camera - checked


• Hand Phone - checked

So I left my house for the Youth Park where the cross country run event is held.

OMG...I'm stuck in a traffic jam. *sigh*

I reached 10 minutes late but who give a damn..there are still students who are on their way here.

On my way to the RC station to report myself in, Adrian Lee, the editor of my school's magazine came up to me and ask me if I could skip the RC duty and take some pictures with Jonathan who had already make up his mind to take pictures instead of taking part in the event.

I told Adrian I can take some pics while on duty as I brought my own camera but it is just a compact one. He agreed and so I went on to the RC station.
I reported in to Ms. Yeoh Poh Lin, the Youth Officer.

After reporting in, I took some pics when the other students were busy assembling in front of the pavilion.

After that..the First-Aiders meet up with Miss Yeoh to be divided into their stations.

Me and Erwin (my senior) volunteered to be stationed at 'Persiaran Kuari'.
Both of us left as soon as we get our orders so we don't really know how many RC stations are there throughout the whole track.
Unfortunately, when we left, the other students were doing the Aerobic Exercise so I can't get any shots on that part. Hopefully Jon took some shots.

Me and Erwin rested for awhile before we continue our walk to Persiaran Kuari as it was still damn early because it will be 30 minutes later before the students were flagged off.

Man, this pit stop is a heaven for mosquitoes..
Itchy..Itchy..
I suffered 5 bites on my hand and 1 behind my ear.

At 9.30 am, the students were flagged off...
So Erwin and I continued our journey to our station at Persiaran Kuari.
It was about 15 minutes later before we reach our station.

There we met Mr. Lok and Mr. Tan Eng Keng who were in charged of this area.
Since the students were just flagged off 15 minutes ago..it will be long before they reach our station as our station was the last station according to Miss Yeoh.

Unfortunately for Erwin and I, this is another heaven for blood thirsty mosquitoes.
"Arghhh...*smacks* *smacks* *smacks* "DIE YOU BLOOD SUCKING B!TCHES!!!"

After some time, students starts coming.
One by one passed by...most of them asked for water
"Waaaterrrrrr...watterrrrr plsssssss...I'm dehydrating...."

Ahhhhhh.....Rejuvenated.

2 hours went by and me and Erwin got pissed with the leftovers and we left and walk back to the Youth Park.

When I was back in Youth Park...damn I was pissed.
According to my friends who went for the 7 KM journey...they said there were only 2 RC stations along the track and I was like WTF?
There should be 5 stations like last year. WTH happen?
The other 18 RC members who volunteered to go on duty were shaking their legs at the main station. Damn It but what to do...

After taking a short rest...
It's time for them to announce the winners and the total marks earned by each sports house.
Wu Lien Teh won 1st placing for beating Pinhorn by 2 points...a close one. XD

I make my way down to the main road to wait for my dad...
While waiting...came Quah Jit. He asked for some money to buy an ice cream so I lent him 5 bucks.
Since he was buying...I asked him to get 1 for me too...
A small size ice cream I told him

he came back with 2 LARGE ones...
Again I go WTF?
Aiyah...buy already ma eat lo...

Story Of My Life

Last Sunday, Lily (a good friend of mine) promised to treat me and my siblings a meal.

Another free meal for this month. =D

She called me at 10 am to wake me up..and I end her call coz

I thought it was the alarm. =p

She called for the second time and this time I answered.

So I woke up, off to the bathroom to take a bath and waited for her to fetch us as soon as I'm ready.

She reached and picked us up at about 11.15 am

We arrived at Giant Supermarket at about 11.30

We found a space to park the car and off we went inside and straight to the Pizza Hut restaurant.

"Pick your orders...Order as much as you can eat, no need pai seh..pai seh ok?", Lily said.

So we picked our orders...from spaghetti, to pizzas, to chicken wings, to criss-cut fries and loads more to list. XD

After getting our orders taken..the waitress zoom off to the counter and we waited for some time before our orders are served to us.

After an hour...all of us were damn bloated.

After the Full-filling meal..we left the restaurant.

It's about 1.15 pm so Lily dropped me at my aunt's house for Physics tuition which starts at 2 pm.

Ohhh man...that sucks but I've got no choice but to attend the tuition class.

Fuhhh....man, I'm so full I can hardly move about.

Young Enterprise (YE) Workshop

Story Of My Life

["Flashback"]

A few weeks back, a workshop was held to brief us about YE.

at 7.35 am, I reached school to take the school's so called 'limo' bus to

Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM).

8 of us were suppose to take the bus but only 7 turned up as one is infected with conjunctivitis the day before.

We left the school at 8.15 am instead of the actual time 8 am.

We're gonna be late.. *sigh*

Reach USM at 8.40 am and met the other members who went there on their own.
lucky for us, the events haven't started yet.
Our lateness turns to "punctual" as there are still some schools who are still waiting for their members to arrive.

After that, we're bought into the lecture theatre.
After some boring speeches..we're then divided into groups with other schools.
We were grouped with SMK Dato' Onn..Ok le..not bad school.
Quah Jit looks disappointed..probably bcoz of we didn't join up with the school he wanted. XD


After a short tea break..we moved into a lecture room.
In there, we we're again shuffled into 6 different groups using name of animals...
Cat, Bird, Tiger, Duck, and 2 more which I cant remember =/

Let The Events Begin!!
First, we "break some ice" then played some games. Kinda fun. XD
Then, we were thought about the responsibility of each role in the company..
The jobs of the Managing Director, Human Resource, Finance Manager..bla bla bla..
After that, we have some presentations to make...
after the presentations, we're assigned to design and make a prototype within 30 minutes.

When we return after filling our tummies,

Productions starts!!

Using the prototype we made, we are ask to produce 10 similar products within 30 mins..HELL!!!

it took us 30 mins just to make 1 prototype and we have to make 10 under the same limit of time?
Noooooo!!!

Time starts now!!!

We started working...cut, paste, tie, etc.

At the end of the time limit..we're given an extra 10 mins. Wheeee!!!

At the end, my fingers were numb and my group we're able to produce 9 and 1 have to be rejected as it is not a 100% complete. so that makes it 8 only including the prototype.

Now..it's marketing strategy time!!

Every group have to act out a commercial for their St. Valentine's Day Give Box

6 different commercials to enjoy and u will just ROFL watching it.

At the end of the day, after the judges calculated the profits earned for each group,

my group won 1st for earning a profit of RM4. LMAO

Its the end of the day and everyone is calling for their parents to come to fetch them home.

I found out Paul bought a hand phone with him..I was like WOW!!

For your info if u don't know..Paul hates hand phones. XD

Whee!!! Exams over and it's the holidays..
Since its the hols..
Me, Nav, Quah Jit and Meng Jiang went to Infinity (a cyber cafe) for some stress relieve "treatment".

I met Dylan and his friends but they were playing DotA..haiz..
So the 3 of us played Comand And Conquer 3 : Tiberium Wars as MJ is not here yet.

This is a game I rarely play and a game Navnith never loss
before we started playing..I know Nav gonna own our ass in it..
so I juz play for the fun of it...

Since me and Quah Jit are noobs at it..
we played "consipiracy theory" style as it is a 'free for all' match.
As usual..Nav took his sweet time and pawned Quah Jit.
That gave me enough time to build my army as the "Scrin" race is a late gamer.
After Quah got his ass kicked...Nav come after me with his leftover units.

Nav's army lost to my army during his offence. XDD
He got screwed as he has no
time to rebuilt his army and I just took my own sweet time and bring my entire army of Scrin's Planetary Assault Carriers to his base

This time "Conspiracy Theory" comes to play again..it's a 4 player "free for all" match.
Me, Quah Jit and MJ agreed to eliminate Nav before we destroy each other.
First MJ went..a quarter of Nav's base destroyed..then it's Quah's turn to go...Half gone..
then came along me...cleared the leftovers. XD
Nav was so bloody pissed with the alliance we've made to eliminate him.
I won the round after I sucessfully eliminated both Quah's and MJ's base..
Whooohooo!!!
never expected to win any CnC 3 matches but I won both rounds I've played. LOL

Standings: I won! lolz.. =D

After that...we played Quake 4
Nav owned 3 outta 4 matches we played..I only owned 1 and it is a close one.
