Add Maths + A Banker = Deal Or No Deal

It was the last lesson of the day...Add Maths.
We make our way to the school's Bilik Tayangan and sat down while waiting for Mr. David.
Since we're ahead of other classes, Mr. David decided to play a Add Maths game with us.

The game is simple.
We divide ourselves in to groups of 3 or 4 and form a company.
Each group is given a question to solve and they can ask for more questions if they want.
Since we are a running a "company"...each question is worth 1000 shares.
For each question correctly solve...the company earns 1000 shares.
If the answer is wrong...
the company goes bankrupt and the 1000 shares will go to the group who can find the mistake and solve it
but if the group who tries to find the mistake fails to do so...
his "company" goes bankrupt too.
If no groups can solve the question...all the shares will go to the banker.

Let's get started...
First Mr. David let each group pick 1 question out of the 30.
Lucky for my group..we got a question on logarithms.
Not that tough...we ask for a second question and then another one.
That makes it all 3 questions.
So now our "company" holds a total of 3000 shares.

How to solve this huh?

The Masterminds

Shhh...Genius at work.

At the end of the 15 minute question answering session..
I found out that Quah's group has answered 4 questions
so that make them the "richest company" as now they have 4000 shares.

Now Let's Talk Money

I see the numbers...where are the chics? XD

Here are the names of the companies

• Blues (Quah's)
• Play Safe (Pang's)
• Newcastle (Asri's)
• Geng Van Sekolah (Noor Arif's)
• FAR-Q (Mine) XD
• and a few more which are unknowns.
  

Now we are given the chance to pinpoint which group should present their answers.
Mr. David gave the chance to Nik (Genius above) to pinpoint first.
Nik, Me, Nav and Arif do a little discussion and we decided to "shoot" Asri.

Asri went out and he provided the right answer so his company, Newcastle, earns 1000 shares.
Then Asri gets to pinpoint at someone else. He picks Noor Arif.

Noor Arif manage to get the answer but his workings are wrong.
Pang went out and solve it so both Play Safe and Geng Van Sekolah earns 500 shares.

Since we're short of time...Mr. David decided the next and the last person to go out.
He picks Quah from Blues..
Quah marched to the front with 100% concentrated power of will
and tries his best to solve the question.

Mr. David a.k.a The Cruel Banker XDD

When he finish solving...his answer is 0.001.
Pang strongly disagree with Quah's answer.
He bravely stood up and went to the front to solve it.
Pang's answer is 10.

Mr. David reveals the answer...
The answer is 10!!
Pang jumps like a monkey as his company just earn 4000 shares from Quah's company.
That makes a total of 4500 shares for Play Safe. XD
Play Safe wins today's "Add Maths Business Game". XD

*Bell Rings*
Me, Yiu Jho and the very sad Quah left the room for Uncle Kang's van to take us home.
On our way home...we we're all tired and some people like Paul fell asleep.
