"It Does Not Envy" *tells self*
Everytime I were to see "that event" happen...
I would remind myself of these 4 words...

Rewind...
14th February 2009...
I was in church for Agape Day...
After a short skit, it was time for Bing Hwang to share.

Listened to Bing Hwang who was sharing on the topic, Love.
Both Earthly Love and Heavenly Love.

When Bing touched on the verses from 1 Corinthians 13:4-13,
I felt sad all a sudden... "It Does Not Envy"
As soon as Bing mentioned that line...
The first thing that cross my mind was the person who I am.

I realize jealousy often overwhelms me whenever
I were to see "another person" talks to "the person I like/adore/love"
Do you feel the same as I do when that happens?
I guess you do...

Bing gave an example after he mentioned that line.
It goes something like this if I'm not wrong.

"When that feeling of envy fills you,
Don't go cursing the guy/girl that talks to him/her...
Because when you love someone...
You hoped for the best for him/her."

Learned an important lesson that evening.
The line in that verse, "It does not envy", changed me.
Changed the way I think...change the way I feel.
A fake smile was never again forcefully carved on my face when it happens. =]
